SVC provides one-to-one basic crisis counseling for survivors of sexual violence. We offer 10 free counseling sessions for 50 minutes each session. After the 10 sessions we refer clients on to other services we provide such as our support groups or we can give them contact information for therapists with expertise in working with sexual assault victims/survivors.
We provide on-site counseling as well as one-to-one counseling in the community. Much of our community based one-to-one counseling takes place in schools throughout Hennepin, Scott, and Carver counties. We also are able to see youth for one-to-one counseling at the Annex Teen Clinic located in Robbinsdale.

All one-to-one counselors have completed a 49-plus hour training per the state of Minnesota requirements, a specific training on one-to-one counseling and continue their training through quarterly workshops.
