SVC has been providing services to victim/survivors of sexual violence, and educating our communities about sexual violence for nearly 25 years. We’re proud of our history and thankful for our dedicated volunteers and staff of highly-trained advocates. Our volunteers, along with our staff and interns, provide the outstanding client services for which SVC is well known and highly regarded.
Advocacy, Counseling and Support Group Services- SVC assists victims and survivors of sexual violence and concerned persons get the help they need and deserve.
Legal Clinics- SVC advocates assist victim/survivors by informing them of their victim rights, and assisting them as they navigate the legal system. The clinic is staffed by Minnesota Women’s Lawyers and administered by Volunteer Lawyers Network.
Prevention Programming and Community Education- We believe education is essential to prevent and eradicate all forms of sexual violence. Our prevention programs and community outreach and education help us accomplish our mission.
Training for Professionals and Advocates- Learn more about our victim centered training for individuals, groups, agencies, businesses and other organizations who work with victims of rape, incest and other forms of sexual violence.
