The Sexual Violence Center (SVC) is an independent 501(c)3 non-profit that is in need of general operating funds to continue our work. We can’t do this without you – can you help? Giving now can help us create a future for our community without sexual violence.
Your donation allows SVC to continue to provide youth and adults with 24-hour crisis phone service, individual counseling, support groups, hospital emergency room advocacy, and legal clinics, all at no cost.
There are many ways to support the Sexual Violence Center and our work with victim/survivors. Beyond financial support, there are even ways to help our agency that do not cost anything!
We accept (and even prefer) checks! This is the only way for SVC to receive 100% of your intended donation because it bypasses credit card processing fees. Checks made out to “Sexual Violence Center” can be sent to the following address:

Another way to support SVC is by donating goods or services to help keep our center a welcoming and safe place for survivors. When you gift SVC with goods or services, we can provide you with a receipt of your donation for tax purposes.
What do we need?
Food donations for volunteer trainings (prepared meals, ingredients to prepare large meals, or snacks)
Gift cards for grocery stores, Target, Staples, & restaurants
Office supplies (pens, post-it notes, markers, etc.)
Desktop and laptop computers (less than 2 years old in good working condition)
Cleaning supplies (non-toxic and non-scented if possible!)
Skilled Services (from contractors, electricians, plumbers, landscapers, etc.)

Shop at The Wedge Using the Sexual Violence Center Membership
The Sexual Violence Center maintains a membership at the Wedge Community Co-op in Minneapolis. If you tell the cashier to use our membership (which is listed under the full name of "Sexual Violence Center") at check-out, a portion of the proceeds from your purchase will come to SVC at the end of the year to help support our work.

Memorial to SVC
If you are looking for a way to pay tribute to a departed loved one, consider suggesting a memorial donation to SVC en lieu of flowers. Memorial donations help us keep our services going 24-hours a day and at no cost to survivors of sexual violence, and are a great way to honor the person you have lost.
