Are you a book lover or a member of a book club? Then you can help support SVC by hosting a book swap. Just ask your friends and families to donate used books and sell them for $2 or $3 (or more if they’d like) per book as a fundraiser for SVC. It can be a fun time with snacks and beverages, or as part of a garage sale or fall cleaning spree. Left over books can be taken to Half Price book store to increase the donations, or saved for the next book swap.
SVC is a member at The Wedge Co-op in Uptown, Minneapolis. When checking out at The Wedge, simply state that you are a member of the Sexual Violence Center or use the member I.D. 216462 during check-out. Patronage refunds will be sent directly to SVC.
Donations can also be made through Kowalski's Markets. Place your receipt in the Sexual Violence Center basket after your purchase and a donation will be made to SVC.
(Baskets are not available at every Kowalski’s location).
