Welcome to the Sexual Violence Center’s (SVC) website. We hope you’ll find it helpful as you search for answers to your questions and information about sexual violence. Please don’t hesitate to call us for more information. Telephone advocates are available 24 hours a day to assist you.

SVC has been helping victim/survivors of sexual violence and educating our communities about sexual violence for 21 years.  We’re proud of our history and grateful to our generous donors and funders. 

We’re also proud of and thankful for our dedicated volunteer staff of 55+ highly-trained advocates and administrative volunteers. These volunteers, along with our staff and interns, provide the outstanding client service for which SVC is well known and regarded highly.

Our Board of Directors is also comprised of volunteer members.  It’s a group that truly defines the term “working board.”  We’re fortunate to have each of them.

SVC’s new logo, designed by Spyglass Creative, reads “From here, forward.”  We see this theme played out daily as our clients move from victim to survivor, finding their own path and learning that healing is possible. We honor these clients by hearing their stories, believing them, understanding where they are now and then encouraging them to start on their own journey to healing. We believe healing is possible.
