DESCRIPTION:SVC invites you to join us for our inaugural Champions of Change Celebration. The Champions of Change Celebration recognizes creativity\, radical vision\, and passion in ensuring that all victims of crime know their rights and are a champion for them. Through this event\, SVC seeks to honor those who have demonstrated outstanding service in supporting individuals who have experienced crime. \nThe Radical Vision Award: celebrating community members who are challenging the status quo to make the world a better place. \nThe Gustafson Family Advocacy Award: celebrating advocates with a demonstrated dedication to providing support to individuals who have experienced sexual violence. \nAccessibility \nIf you anticipate needing any type of accommodation or have questions about the event\, please email support@sexualviolencecenter.org at least two weeks prior to the event. \nAbout the Sexual Violence Center \nThe Sexual Violence Center is a dedicated rape crisis center providing free support services to individuals in Carver\, Hennepin\, and Scott counties who have experienced sexual violence. \nThis event is free to attend.
