The Sexual Violence Center (SVC) is an independent 501(c)3 non-profit that is in need of general operating funds to continue our work. We can’t do this without you – can you help? Giving now can help us create a future for our community without sexual violence.
Your donation allows SVC to continue to provide youth and adults with 24-hour crisis phone service, individual counseling, support groups, hospital emergency room advocacy, and legal clinics, all at no cost.
There are many ways to support the Sexual Violence Center and our work with victim/survivors. Beyond financial support, there are even ways to help our agency that do not cost anything!
We accept (and even prefer) checks! This is the only way for SVC to receive 100% of your intended donation because it bypasses credit card processing fees. Checks made out to “Sexual Violence Center” can be sent to the following address:

Memorial to SVC
If you are looking for a way to pay tribute to a departed loved one, consider suggesting a memorial donation to SVC en lieu of flowers. Memorial donations help us keep our services going 24-hours a day and at no cost to survivors of sexual violence, and are a great way to honor the person you have lost. For more information, please contact Kristen at email@example.com or (612) 871-5100 x 16.
Our agency also had need for items, materials and services to help keep our office going. Do you have any of the following? Consider making an in-kind donation of items in good condition to SVC to help support our office...to keep it clean, safe and welcoming for victims/survivors!
- Art supplies (that we can use for support groups and for our outreach)
- Office furniture (please contact us to find out what we need now!)
- Water filters (Brita)
- Tea (in bags)
- Cleaning supplies (ideally non-toxic and un-scented or lightly scented)
