#MeetTheTeamTuesday: Noah Nourse

It’s time for another #MeetTheTeamTuesday

Today, we’re introducing Volunteer Services Coordinator, Noah Nourse.

What keeps you invested in this work?

I work primarily with SVC’s volunteer advocates, and I love being able to connect with them to talk about their experiences with the people we serve. Our volunteers consistently give valuable input on continuing to make our services more accessible and reflective of everyone we serve, and I really value being a part of those conversations.

For people wanting to learn more about this issue, what podcasts, books, articles, etc would you recommend?

“Pleasure Activism” by adrienne maree brown, “Sexed Up” by Julia Serano, and “Her Body and Other Parties” by Carmen Maria Machado are all books that I’ve returned to again and again!

What is your favorite thing to do in the Twin Cities?

My ideal day involves record shopping and good local coffee, which the Cities have plenty of. I also love taking advantage of local parks and trails like Swede Hollow Park and the Gateway State Trail in St. Paul.
